Pudong Campus: We are very proud to be hosting a prestigious international band festival January 28-30, 2010.  The Asian Middle Schools AMIS Honor Band Festival is a worldwide auditioned band performing at a very high standard.
The Association for Music in International Schools (AMIS) is dedicated to the promotion of excellence in all levels of music education. AMIS sponsors a variety of music festivals annually which are especially designed to benefit students in international schools in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.  Students and teachers from all over the world are welcome as participants.

The Pudong Campus Honor Band will be conducted by Peter Lutkoski who is the Head of Performing Arts at The American School in London.

Last year’s middle school AMIS honor band festival was held in Manila. The middle school had six students who passed the audition process and were accepted as members. Our Pudong campus MS musicians will be auditioning again this year and we hope to have several accepted into the honor band.

The international visiting band members will need to be housed by our Pudong middle school families, more information will be coming home with MS musicians shortly.
