On February 5, 2010, Shanghai American School, Pudong Campus Middle School will host the 2009-2010 ACAMIS Chinese Talent Show for all international schools in Shanghai. 

One of our alumnae, Mr. Yih (pictured left)  has been very generous in sponsoring the entire event. With his unyielding support, we are able to present every participating student an award and a free event T-shirt. In addition, our sponsor will provide all participating students, teachers, and helping parents a Chinese traditional lunch on that day. 

The performances will be held in the morning until 1:30pm. All participating students will be asked to arrive at the Pudong campus around 9:30am for registration and the opening ceremony.

There are three performance categories: Instrumental, Chinese singing/dance and Gongfu. The performance venues are the library lecture hall, the auditorium and the middle school gym respectively. All music must be Chinese and the vocal music must be sung in Mandarin.
If you have interest in participating, there are several steps:

• Get a registration form from your Chinese teacher.
• Tell your parents and get their permission.
• Turn in your form to your Chinese teacher.
• Remind your Chinese teacher to turn in the form to the corresponding person below:
