Pudong Campus Girls Team takes SISAC Cross Country

IMG_1166A (Small)Cross-country continues to grow on both campuses. The SISAC cross-country championship this year was held at the Shangahi Links near the Pudong campus of Shanghai American School with six teams participating, a total of 58 boys and 43 girls. It was a great turn out as cross-country continues to grow here in Shanghai.

BOYS
The Puxi campus Boys Team placed first and the Pudong campus Boys Team placed second. Here are the results:

SAS, Puxi campus: 34 points
SAS, Pudong campus: 55 pts
SMIC: 94 points
SSIS: 100 points
CISS: 113 points
Dulwich: 150 points
GIRLS
For the fourth year in a row the Pudong campus Girls Team won the SISAC championship and will be a strong contender in APAC later this week in Guam. Here are the results:

SAS, Pudong campus: 25 pts
SSIS: 33
SAS Puxi campus: 83 points
SMIC: 93 points

GIRLS
Emily Albrecht: 1st place
Emily Vogel:  7th place

Top 10 Puxi campus runners at SISAC Cross-Country Meet October 20, 2009:
BOYS
Bryan Law: 2nd place
Johannes Bachhuber, 3rd place
Shiang Lin, 4th place

GIRLS
Jen Kao  placed in the top 10 with a time of 24.10.
