Puxi Campus PTSA President’s Message

After two weeks of school everyone is no doubt back on schedule and hopefully enjoying the routine of school.  The beginning of the school year is always an incredibly busy time for teachers, parents and students alike.

Thank you to everyone who attended this week’s Parent Information Fair.  It is a school and PTSA tradition that we hope helps new and returning families help find out what services and organizations are in the community.  Big thanks to our parent volunteers Margaret Keefe and Audrey Wu for their tireless efforts to organize this event.

What we are working on:

• Distributing and collecting the Parent Volunteer Sheets and updating our data base. 
• Identifying Room Parents for each of our ES  classes.
• Organizing and recruiting volunteers for the very popular ES Passport Check program.
• Preparing for the 15th Annual International Fair taking place on Saturday, September 26 on the Puxi Campus.  (See article in this addition of the Eagle for details)
• Organizing the HS/MS Parent Teacher social taking place Friday,  September 4.
• Upcoming HS parent networking coffees .
• Working with the school to put the finishing touches to the new school store “The Eagles Shop”.  This is located between the patio and covered basketball area.
• All committees are at work planning in general the year ahead.
